The Dew Action Sports Tour is gearing up to hit the road again. Beginning in June 2007, fans can expect the same fast paced action and air-grabbing stunts that dominated the first two years of the tour. This year, however there will be a few changes.
New Name...The first change that fans may notice is the name change. Due to a rebranding initiative, the name of the tour has changed. For the first two years of its existence the premier action sports tour in the United States has been called the Dew Action Sports Tour. For the 2007 tour the name changed to the Action Sports Tour (AST) or AST Dew Tour.
New Cities...The other changes that occurred for the 2007 season involve some of the event venues. Three of the previous cities on the tour (Louisville, KY, Denver, CO, and San Jose, CA) have been replaced. The new stops on the tour are Baltimore, MD, Salt Lake City, UT and Cleveland, OH.
Same Great Action...The AST Dew Tour is a multi-sport event that attracts over 200 action sports athletes from eighteen counties. It is the only season-long, multi-sport action tour in the United States. Athletes compete in any of six different disciplines for a share in the $2.5 million prize purse. Also, at the end of the tour the athlete with the highest total of cumulative points in each sport is awarded the Dew Cup. Athletes compete in their choice of the following disciplines: Skateboard (park and vert), BMX (park, vert and dirt), and freestyle Motocross.
Fun For Everyone...For action sports fans there is more to the tour than just watching the competitors. Each tour stop includes a festival with live music, demos, autograph sessions, and more to keep you entertained all day and well into the evening. However, the AST Dew Tour often brings out some of the most amazing tricks and rides in every athlete so it would be a shame to miss a single minute of the action.

- June 21-24: Panasonic Open, Baltimore, MD, Camden Yards Sports Complex.
- July 19-22: Right Guard Open, Cleveland, OH, North Coast Harbor
- August 16-19: Vans® Invitational, Portland, OR, Rose Quarter
- September 20-23: Toyota Challenge, Salt Lake City, UT, Energy Solutions Arena
- October 18-21: Playstation® Pro, Orlando, FL, Amway Arena
The AST Dew Tour is also televised for those who can't make it or don't live near a stop on the tour. Check your local listings on the weekend of the event for air dates and times.
