Kids Who Rip is one of my favorite things on the web and in the world of action sports. It is an online forum for kids who are involved in action sports. KidsWhoRip.com gives kids the chance to share (and show-off!) their skills and establish a community of friends with similar interests.
I've met Rod Parmenter (founder and producer of KWR) and I have to say, he is truly interested in giving kids the opportunity and encouragement to live an active, healthy life. The enthusiasm of the Kids Who Rip staff, community members (and their parents!) is definitely contagious.
In addition to providing the forum, Kids Who Rip is also giving away prizes every month to members of their online community. Prizes so far have included Nike 6.0 shoes, DVD's and Dakine Back Packs. Kids Who Rip will also be giving away a snowboard camp package and a Salomon ski sponsorship package. I have to stress that the contest (in addition to the website) is only for kids (ages 5-17). For more information on Kids Who Rip and the contest details check out the event calendar on the website.
